This article summarized Prof. XU Li＇s experience on the application of ＂Three Periods and Six Differentiations＂ Antieancer Model in treating lung cancer. Prof. XU Li opines that ＂Qi and Yin deficiency and cancer toxin invasion＂ is the basic pathogenesis of lung cancer.He divides the treatment into 3 periods： adjuvant therapy （refers to the period of radiotherapy and chemotherapy）, the period of consolidation and maintenance therapy and the period of palliative treatment, and establishes the treatment methods according to these periods, combined with ＂Six Differentiations＂ to guide the prescriptions. He also establishes the ＂9159＂way of taking medicine. By integrating disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation can one be more precise in anticancer.
