“洋风”指移植到北京的西方古代建筑样式,属于折衷主义,是北京近代建筑四种主要样式之一,主要为外国人所创作。北京近代“洋风”建筑以东交民巷使馆区建筑为滥觞,是19世纪末至20世纪初年北京建筑中的主流。
Western style refers to the western classical architectural style used in Beijing. Itbelongs to eclecticism and is one of the four modern styles in Beijing. The buildings of thisstyle were basically designed by foreign architects. Architecture in the Dong Jiaominxiangenclave was the source of Beijing modern western style and it became the main stream ofBeijing architecture in the 19th century and the early years of the 20th century.
