手术及丝裂霉素C局部用药治疗放疗后鼻孔闭锁的初步报告

Surgery and mitomycin C local administration in the treatment of radiotherapy-induced choanal atresia

目的初步探讨手术及丝裂霉素c局部用药治疗放疗后鼻孔闭锁的疗效。方法9例患者均在鼻内镜下行后鼻孔闭锁切除术，术区局部涂抹丝裂霉素C。结果术后随访6—13个月未发现有后鼻孔闭锁、鼻咽粘连，9例患者均恢复了正常的鼻腔通气引流功能。结论手术及丝裂霉素c局部用药治疗放疗后后鼻孔闭锁，操作简便，远期疗效可靠，可避免二次手术，具有推广应用价值。

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the clinical effect of surgery and mitomycin C in the treatment of choanal atresia after radiotherapy in the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma （NPC）. METHODS Nine patients suffered from choanal arresia after NPC radiotherapy were treated under nasal endoscope, then, mitomycin-C （0.4 mg/ml） was applied topically to the nasopharyngeal orifice. No stents were placed. RESULTS Follow-up evaluation at postoperative 6-13 months showed that their symptoms improved significantly and choanae remained unblocked. CONCLUSION Surgery and mitomycin C topically application are simple and reliable with long-term therapeutical effect in the treatment of radiotherapy-induced choanal atresia in patients with NPC.
