Liu Zongyue and the Mingei Movement of the North-east Region in Japan( 1930-1945)

20世纪20年代,日本爆发了柳宗悦领导的"民艺"运动。民艺运动重塑了传统工艺文化,1930—1945年期间柳宗悦对日本东北地区民艺的挖掘与推广更充分体现了日本民族主义的特点。理清该时期民艺运动的具体发展状况,对于当前全球化语境中如何正确保护和发展我国的传统文化有着重要的借鉴意义。

In 1920s, Mingei Movement led by Liu Zongyue broke out in Japan, which remolded the Japanese traditional craft culture. During 1930 -1945, Liu Zongyue explored and popularized the Japanese crafts in the north- east region, which reflected the features of Japanese Nationalism. Therefore, the study of Mingei Movement in this region will contribute to proper protection and development of Chinese traditional culture in the context of the globalization.
