信息化时代下高校英语教师课堂角色研究

A Study on Classroom Roles of College English Teachers in the Information Age

本研究以信息化时代为大背景,研究高校英语教师课堂角色,旨在更新其教育教学理念、提升其个人素质和提高其教育教学水平,进而促进英语教学改革,推动我国的国际化进程。研究发现,信息化时代下高校英语教师除具备传统教学环境中的教师角色之外,还应该是复合信息获取者、多元知识传授者、学术前沿传道者、学生科研引路者和创新人才培养者。

The study focuses on the research of college English teachers roles in class against the back- ground of information age, aiming to update college English teachers＇teaching ideas, develop their personal qualities and improve their capacities for education and teaching. Thus, it may help to promote college Eng- lish teaching reforms and the process of internationalization in China. It is found that college English teach- ers in the information age should have many roles. Besides the traditional teachers＇ role, they should also be a multiple information obtainer, a multiple knowledge initiator, an academic frontier apostle, a science and research guider and an innovative talent trainer.
