On Teachers' Self-cultivation in Contemporary Era

当前,教师群体虽然主流是好的,但是少数教师政治觉悟不高、不能正确看待利益,教学科研作风不实、职业使命感认识不够。在新时期,加强教师修养是教师群体更好担当历史使命的必然要求。习近平总书记提出,好老师要有理想信念、要有道德情操、要有扎实学识、要有仁爱之心。深刻领会新时期好教师的标准、自觉践行社会主义核心价值观要求,是提升教师修养的必由之路。

Nowadays, although the mainstream of teachers group is good, a few teachers have low level of political awareness, cannot correctly treat interests, have a bad style of teaching and scientific research, and are lack of strong sense of career commitment. Cultivating talents, leading the direction of social development, inheriting and developing human culture, have become a historical mission of teachers at the new ages. At present, there are still some problems in the development of teacher＇s team, which need to be solved to meet the new requirements of social development for teachers. Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, said that a good teacher should have ideals and beliefs, high moral sentiment, rich knowledge and charity. Deeply understanding the meaning of the speech, and consciously practicing the socialist core values, it is the only way for teachers to further cultivate themselves.
