论统“独”冲突对台湾地区民主政治的影响

On the Influence of“Reunification or Independence Disputation”over Taiwan Democracy

台湾统"独"冲突导致了台湾选举民粹异化、党争泛滥、司法混乱、公共领域失范失序等问题。这一缺陷还极大地影响着台湾民主政治的效能,造成或加剧了台湾经济发展、社会整合、政治治理等方面的困境。可以说,统"独"争议从根本上制约台湾民主政治的发展,使台湾深陷"民主陷阱"之中。

From the perspective of ＂stateness＂ problem, the conflict of KMT and DPP in Taiwan essentially means the antagonism between ＂Republic of China＂and ＂Taiwan Republic＂.This issue indicates that there is a critical defect in the top-level design of Taiwan democracy. This defect seriously impacts on the operation of Taiwan democracy, and results in the phenomena such as the election alienation, partisan struggle, judicial disarray and lack of public sphere in the island. On the other hand, the defect also badly influences the efficacy of Taiwan democracy, triggers or aggravates a series of dilemmas in economic development, social integration and political governance. In other words, ＂Reunification or Independence Disputation＂ has fundamentally constrained the progress of Taiwan democracy, and has made Taiwan deeply fallen into ＂the democracy trap＂.
