福建产茶历史悠久,茶类丰富,是著名的特种茶产区。"十二五"期间,通过优化茶类品种结构、加强项目管理、提升质量安全水平、培育知名品牌、推进科技创新,福建茶产业发展迅速,呈现八个"新"的良好态势。"十三五"期间,福建省作为重要的产茶地区,将从强化科技支撑、培育龙头企业、拓展国内外市场、发展农民茶叶专业合作组织、加快标准化进程、弘扬茶文化、加大扶持力度入手,加快推广茶叶机械、建设生态茶园、拓展精深加工、强化质量与规模、拓展经营思路和创新发展模式,全面提升福建茶产业综合竞争力和可持续发展能力。

Fujian has a long history of tea production of various kinds of tea, making it famous for producing special teas. During the ＂12th Five-Year Plan＂ period, tea industry in Fujian went through rapid development and gaining new momentum in 8 aspects by optimizing tea variety structure, strengthening project management, enhancing the quality safety level, fostering famous brands and promoting scientific and technological innovation. During the＂13th Five-Year Plan＂ period, Fujian Province, as an important tea producing area, aims to improve the comprehensive competitiveness and sustainable development of tea industry in Fujian Province through different measures, such as strengthening scientific and technological support, cultivating leading enterprises, expanding domestic and foreign markets, developing specialized cooperative tea planting organizations, accelerating the standardization process,promoting tea culture, increasing financial support, accelerating the promotion of tea machinery, building ecological tea plantations, expanding intensive processing, improving the quality and scale, opening up business ideas and innovating in the development mode.
