Review of Hunan Tea Industry during the 12th Five-Year Plan Period and Its Prospect for Upcoming Five-year Plan

茶业是湖南省具有比较优势的传统支柱产业。文章介绍了湖南省茶产业"十二五"发展概况并分析了产业发展面临的问题与挑战。"十三五"期间湖南省将以市场为导向,以品牌为引领,以企业为主体,以科技为支撑,以增加农民收入为核心,以提升质量效益为目标,大力实施品牌战略,做大做强湘茶产业。

Tea has been a traditionally pillar industry in Hunan Province, with relative advantages and broad market prospects. The development situation and the challenges facing to Hunan tea industry during the ＂12th FiveYear Plan＂ period were reviewed in the present paper. During the ＂13th Five-Year Plan＂ period, Hunan Province will build a bigger and stronger tea industry through market orienting, taking the enterprise as main body of the industry,supporting the science and technology, taking the increase in farmer＇s income as the core and the enhancing quality and efficiency as the goal and vigorously implementing the brand strategy.
