Practical teaching system is an important part of training students' comprehensive quality and the ability of engineering practice.Combined with the characteristics of mechanical design manufacturing and automation professional,this paper expounds the secondary specialized school of mechanical design manufacturing and thoughts on constructing the practical teaching system,in order to better train students' innovation ability and engineering practice ability.
