Towards the Translation of Parody in Discourse from the Perspective of Socio-semiotics—On Two Different Chinese Versions of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

仿拟修辞格是一种重要的修辞手法,其翻译涉及两种符号系统之间意义和功能的传递。以《艾丽丝漫游奇境记》两个中译本为例,探讨社会符号学视角下仿拟修辞格的三种翻译方法以及各种方法在指称意义、言内意义及语用意义方面在语篇翻译中的得失问题和应对策略,能够为仿拟修辞格在语篇中的翻译提供有效的方法和评价标准。

As an important rhetorical device,the translation of parody involves the translating of two semiotic systems' meaning and function. By taking the two Chinese versions of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as an example to discuss three ways of translating parody respectively under the socio-semiotic perspective in terms of its referential meaning,linguistic meaning and pragmatic meaning,both the practice and assessment of parody translation in discourse will be effectively guided.
