包蕴宏富的混沌存在与言说的敞开——《野狐岭》叙事主题及叙事策略刍议

The Narrative Theme and Narrative Strategy of Ye Hu Ling( The Wild Fox Ridge)

雪漠的长篇小说《野狐岭》就其表层叙事来说,是一个不同的行动者各自独立或合作完成特定使命的故事。而小说的叙事主题大致可以梳理出以驼队文化为核心的西北文化的叙写、家族秘史的揭示、家族仇恨的摹写、人性之恶的刻画、哥老会会众的革命活动的勾勒、木鱼歌文化的展示、佛教思想的表现以及超越家族仇恨与宗教信仰的生死恋的描绘等主题,但贯穿其中的应该是家族仇恨与超越家族仇恨的爱情主题。围绕这两个重要主题形成了小说叙事的主要架构,当然最终是以前者的消解与后者的凸显而收束,因此超越家族仇恨的爱情主题可以视为小说最突出的叙事主题。

In terms of its surface narrative,Xue Mo＇s novel Ye Hu Ling（ The Wild Fox Ridge） is a story of accomplishing a specific task by different actors independently or in collaboration. The novel is roughly themed on the description of northwestern culture centered on the camel culture,the revelation of familial secret history,the depiction of family hatred,the portrayal of human evils,an outline of revolutionary activities by members in the Society of Brothers,the demonstration of the wooden fish songs culture,the reflection of Buddhist thought and the narration of love of life and death beyond the family hatred and religious beliefs,but the recurring one throughout the novel is the themes of family hatred and of love beyond family hatred. Structured around two major themes—family hatred and love,the novel features the deconstruction of the former and the predominance of the latter in its narrative,thus rendering the love theme beyond family hatred as the most predominant one in the novel.
