This paper introduces the working principles of Siemens 6SE70 series frenquency transformer and its detection methods and steps of the initial rotor position angle. The frequency transformer implements synchronous motor with the vector control principle of flux orientation, detects the initial rotor position angles by the absolute pulse coder and stores the datum in 6SE70.
