古往今来,"鞋"的意象一直在文学作品中出现。从最初单纯性实用之目的,到带有一种隐喻性的思维图式,"鞋"被赋予了多重性的阐释空间。在贾平凹的小说《废都》中,"鞋"这一意象承载了多重意蕴。它的运用不但丰富了作品的内涵,而且展现了多元化的女性世界,更阐释了男权文化的劣根性、男性自我身份迷失的焦虑与寻找。
