A Study on Characteristic Services in British University Libraries under Information Era

本文旨在讨论信息和网络时代下,英国大学图书馆面对本校教师、学生及外来读者提供有针对性、多层次、个性化的特色服务。本文以英国华威大学为例重点阐述了英国华威大学图书馆的结构、功能和服务模式,从而得到对国内大学图书馆的创新、转型的启示。

In the era of information and network,libraries of university in Britain are providing students, teachers and off-campus readers targeted, multi-level and personalized services. This paper takes library of Warwick University as an example to illustrate its structure, functions and service mode, aiming at giving some enlightenment to the innovation and transformation of domestic university libraries.
