盐业生产活动与地名形成研究——以历史时期淮南盐区为例

A Research on Productive Activities of Salt Industry and the Formation of Place Names——Taking Huainan Salt Region in History as an Example

作为语言的载体,地名反映着地方政治、经济和文化的变迁。淮南盐区作为古代重要的盐产地,其地名形成与盐业生产活动密切相关。汉唐时期,地方设监置场,管理盐业生产。元代,设运盐司,场则专指食盐生产地域。明中后期,新增区域的命名亦伴随着盐业生产活动的进行而产生,并呈现多样化特征。反观历史时期淮南盐区盐业的发展,揭示淮南盐区地名形成的规律,为淮南盐区生产方式对区域命名的研究提供借鉴。

Place names,as the carriers of language,reflect the political,economic and cultural changes of a certain area.The formation of place names in Huainan salt region,an important salt producing region in ancient times,is closely related to the productive activities of salt industry.In Han and Tang Dynasties, there are regional monitoring fields;in Yuan Dynasty,salt transportation department is established;in mid and late Ming Dynasty,new regions are named according to the productive activities of salt industry and the formation of names takes on a diversified characteristic.A reflection on the development of the salt industry in Huainan salt region in history reveals the regular pattern of the formation of place names in the region and provides some experience for studies on naming places according to the productive patterns of salt.
