石黑一雄的小说《长日留痕》刻画了一位内心世界颓废乖戾且偏执保守的典型的英国男管家史蒂文斯形象。运用女性主义文学批评理论从受压抑的女性、沉默的女性和非女性受害者3方面对这篇小说进行解读,既体现了其中鲜明的女性主义思想,也揭示出男权制一方面沉重地压迫女性,另一方面压迫男性,对社会健康发展产生了极大的危害。

Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel The Remains of the Day depicts a typical English butler Stevens with a decadent,eccentric,stubborn and conservative inner world.Appling the feminist critical theory,the paper analyzes the feminist thought embodied in this novel from three aspects：the restrained women,the silent women and the non-female victims.The novel also reveals that patriarchy not only heavily oppresses women but also oppresses men,having a great harm on the healthy development of the society.
