Yi Ying Stele is a stone tablet for making a memorandum in the Eastern Han Dynasty,and the value of its calligraphy has been approvingly spoken of by the later generations.Taking the tablet inscription as the research subject,the paper verifies the names of people and places in it.From the perspective of history,the paper analyzes some related problems,such as the procedure of submitting a written statement to a higher authority at that time,the belongings needed in the sacrifice in Confucian Temple and whether Zhong Yao was the writer of this inscription.
