The love between Mr. Jin Yuelin--a logic mogul and philosophy master, and Ms. Lin Huiyin--an architect and poet is famous and touching. This paper makes a study on Jin＇ s personality, charms and mental world and his love with Ms. Lin in order to show their distinctiveness. Also, it compares Lin Huiyin and Lin Daiyu--a sentimental and deified girl in the Chinese classic--The Story of the Stone in order to show the former＇ s unique charms and her supernatural love with Mr. Jin. By means of an analysis of el- egiac couplets written by Mr. Jin for Ms. Lin, we attempt to reveal his logic wisdom in Chinese couplets as well as his reason and passion.
