如何大面积提高少数民族地区教育的办学效益和教育质量、如何巩固普及成果,少数民族地区教育如何均衡化发展,如何与全国教育同步发展,已成为少数民族地区教育面临的艰巨任务。少数民族教育的发展已有很好的基础,必须要自信,在发展中既要讲创新,更重要的是要继承。要在继承中创新,少数民族教育才能科学发展,才能尽快实现上述目标。

It is important to improve the educational effects and quality in minority areas. Also, we should strengthen and publicize the achievements and make minority education de- velop in a balanced way, and eventually harmonize its development with national edu- cation. It is argued that minority education in China has witnessed much progress over the past years yet it should have confidence, inheritance and innovation under the new circumstances.
