On Strengthening the Ideological and Political Work in Oilfield R&D Units Under New Circumstances

低油价让油田发展进入了"寒冬期",其科研单位也受到了巨大影响,面临着费用锐减、项目难立、成果难推、队伍难带等诸多困境。油田科研单位的思想政治工作,必须紧跟形势,及时把工作重点转到员工心态调整、业务方向把控、转型能力提升上,引领广大干部员工承压奋进,全力闯出一条科学发展之路。

The low oil price has pushed the development of the oilfield into a ＂harsh winter period＂, and its R＆D units have also been gravely affected, with many challenges like budget cuts, project cuts, research findings hard to implement, team instability, etc. When the staff are feeling insecure and looking for stability, change, and improvement, the ideological and political work of the R＆D units must adjust accordingly. The work should focus on staff mentality adjustment, research direction monitoring, and transformation capability enhancement, so as to better lead the unit and staff toward a scientific development outlook.
