A Study on the Current Situation of English Teachers' Training in Rural Primary Schools

农村小学英语教师是提高农村小学英语教学质量的关键因素。目前合格的农村小学英语教师短缺,教师培训是教师专业化发展的有效途径,通过调查问卷的方法,调查了农村小学英语教师的培训需求和培训现状,并对农村小学英语教师培训提出了可行的建议。

English teachers of rural primary schools are the key factors to improve the quality of English teaching in rural primary schools.There is a shortage of qualified English teachers in rural primary schools. Teacher training is an effective way of teachers＇ professional development. This paper investigates training needs and training status of English teachers in rural primary schools, and presents feasible proposals for rural primary school English teachers＇ training.
