吴炳,明末优秀剧作家,有"粲花五种曲"传世,其中《绿牡丹》在思想上反映了明末社会剧坛的主流思想。《绿牡丹》在艺术上有很高的成就,人物形象、情节结构、语言安排上都极其突出。
Five Operas of Can Hua is written by Wu Bing who is an outstanding writer in Ming Dynasty. Green Peony reflected the mainstream thinking of social drama in the late Ming. It has achieved high achievement in arts, with wonderful characters, detailed plots and language.
