On the Banquet Poetry of Song Dynasty

闻喜宴是唐宋时期为新科进士及诸科及第者举行的庆贺宴会。宋代闻喜宴是由朝廷举办的庆祝士子及第的具有官方性质的宴会,闻喜宴诗则是在宴会中形成的诗歌。宋代闻喜宴诗主要包括皇帝赐诗、大臣及进士的和诗,以及其他关于闻喜宴的诗歌。

Wen Xi Yan was a celebrating banquet in Tang and Song dynasties, to congratulate for the new scholars and third, those who pass the civil-service examination. In Song dynasty, it was an official banquet which was held by the government. Banquet poems in Wenxi was formed in such kind of celebration banquet. In Song dynasty, this poems include the emperor bestowed type, ministers and scholars made, and some other type of poetry in such theme.
