基于概念隐喻理论解析汉语古诗中涉“水”的五大意象

Analysis of "Water" Images in Ancient Chinese Poetry from the Perspective of Conceptual Metaphor

水既是生命之源,也是文化之源,经常被赋予隐喻含义,但学者们从概念隐喻的角度来分析汉语诗歌中涉"水"词语的意象并不多见。本论文不但分析汉语古诗中"水"字诗歌,还从广义的水介绍了它所存在的物理形态,并归纳了水的五大概念隐喻——情感是水、人是水、时间是水、品德是水和公共支持是水。

Water is the source of life, also the source of culture and civilization. Natural water also has been endowed with metaphorical meanings, but not many scholars study ＂water＂ images in ancient Chinese poetry from a perspective of conceptual metaphor. This paper introduces the different states of water in Chinese poetry, not limited in the poems with the Chinese character ＂water＂. Besides, the paper summarizes five major categories of conceptual metaphor of water, namely EMOTION IS WATER, HUMAN BEINGS ARE WATER,TIME IS WATER, VIRTUE IS WATER and PUBLIC SUPPORT IS WATER.
