“功能对等理论”视角下的药品说明书的翻译策略

On the Translation Strategies of Pharmaceutical Instructions from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence

药品说明书翻译的难点在于源语和目的语的语言和文化存在着差异。中英文药品说明书都具有其自身独特的语言风格、文本形式和文化背景。本文对英文药品说明书进行分析研究,运用奈达的功能对等理论,结合英汉药品说明书的语言特征,通过一些实例来证明尤金·奈达的功能对等理论在药品说明书的翻译中具有现实的指导意义。

The difficulties of translation of pharmacertical instructions lie in the differences between the language and culture of the original and the target texts. Pharmaceutical instructions, both in English and Chinese, have their unique language features, text types and culture background. This paper analyzes the English pharmaceutical instructions and the application of Nida＇s translation theory in the translation of pharmacertical instruction. This paper uses some examples to prove the practical significance of Nida＇s translation theory in the translation of pharmaceutical instructions.
