论大卫·哈维的城市空间思想及其现实意义

On the Urban Space Theory of David Harvey and Its Practical Significance

近年来,西方马克思主义领域掀起一股关注城市问题的思潮。与传统马克思主义将城市看成附属性的考察对象相比,新马克思主义城市学派从空间维度重新彰显城市的主体性地位。作为该学派代表之一,大卫·哈维将马克思主义资本理论与空间思想有机结合起来,探索出研究城市问题的方法论——过程辩证法和"历史—地理唯物主义",并根据该方法研究资本对城市空间的重塑问题,最后从城市空间的资本化、城市与阶级运动的关系和城市空间想象等三个方面对未来城市建设作出富有创见的预测。一定程度上来说,哈维的城市思想与当前中国特色城市发展道路具有一致性,这种一致性表现在:城市空间的资本化、异质化、区域化。因此,中国城市发展道路需要特别重视城市空间规划的科学性和系统性,城市人文精神的传承性和凝聚性,城市治理能力的现代性和开放性。

In recent years,there has been a hotly tendency of paying close attention to the urban problems in the field of Western Marxism.Compared with the traditional Marxism＇ s view which treat the urban problems as a belonging object,the new Marxism urban school reasserts subjectivity status of the city from the spatial dimensions.As one of the representatives of this school,David Harvey combines the Marxist capital theory with the space theory organically,explores the new urban issues methodology-Dialectics of process and ＂ History-Geographical Materialism＂,then reshapes urban space by this way,and last gives a series of creative urban configurations from three aspects of the urban space capitalization,urban-class relations and urban space imaginations.To a certain extent,Harvey＇ s city thought is consistent with the urban development road with Chinese characteristics currently.The consistency lies in the capitalization,heterogeneous,regionalization of the urban space.Therefore,It is necessary for China to give some special attention to the scientific and systematic urban spatial planning,the cohesive and heritage of urban humanistic spirit,the modernity and openness of urban governance capabilities on the development of China＇s urban road.
