More than 10,000 athletes from 207 countries and regions competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio,so sparking once more the global audience’s passion for competitive sports.A total of 416 Chinese athletes competed on this occasion in 210-odd events in more than 26sports.As of August 17,China ranked N0.3 in both the gold medal and the overall medal count.
