The paper introduces the geography and equipment of the fully-mechanized mining face of a ten-million-ton coal mine,in terms of the process,cause analysis,treatment,and precaution of support dumping accident,and concludes that the most reasonable and effective method to prevent the support dumping is to advance the working face as soon as possible under the correct support.The study has some reference value and guidance for the prevention of the support dumping in new ten-million-ton mines.
