"Confrontation" between Consumption and Ecology in Technical Rationality

技术是现代社会发展的支柱,但是其中蕴含的技术理性却是如今消费与生态"对抗"的理性根源。消费的本质在于主体生存与需要,但是近代以来的技术理性逐渐遮蔽了消费对于人的存在意义,从而扭曲人们的消费理性。无限的消费理性对有限的生态理性的僭越使得生态有序复归的根本被消解。

Technology is the backbone of modern society,but the concomitant technical rationality constitutes the rational root of today’s ＂ confrontation＂ between consumption and ecology. Consumption in essence is for the purpose of subsistence and the satisfaction of other needs. However,since modern times,technical rationality has gradually blinded people from this essence of consumption and twisted their consumption rationality. As a result,the arrogation by infinite consumption rationality of finite ecological rationality melts away the fundament of the orderly return of the ecology.
