英语世界学者眼中的孙子兵法与反恐战争

Sun Tzu＇s Art of War and Anti-terrorism in the Eyes of the Scholars in the English-speaking World

以伦敦经济学院国际关系学博士克里斯托弗·科克尔、英国里丁大学教授卡莱布·巴特利、新加坡国立大学李光耀公共政策学院教授CharlesChaoRongPhua、格里·加戈里亚蒂等英语世界四位学者的观点来阐释孙子兵法与全球反恐战争的关系，重点探讨了孙子兵法对现代战争的启示与借鉴，美军在第一次海湾战争、越南战争和全球反恐战争中对孙子兵法的运用是否恰当，今后又该如何活学活用孙子兵法等问题，在丰富孙子兵法的当代价值和意义的同时，也加深了对《孙子兵法》在英语世界中的传播与应用的了解。

This essay selects four articles by the scholars in the English-speaking world to expound the relation- ships between Sun Tzu＇s art of war and the global anti-terrorism war from the rich materials. The enlightenment of Sun Tzu＇s The Art of War towards the modern warfare,whether the US armies use the principles of Sun Tzu ap- propriately in the first Gulf War, Vietnam War and the Global War on Terrorism, and how can we creatively study and apply Sun Tzu＇s art of war,we may know by a handful the whole sack from the similar yet diversified ideas of these four scholars in the English-speaking world.
