Yu Guangzhong and the Birth of the Spirit of “Chinese New Literature”

余光中新诗论内含着一个古典传统文学中最重要的原型抒情的主体模式之智慧找寻。他对中国新文学精神的现代建构中时空观念、学理视境、创作技巧和表达旨趣的全貌设想不但极为重视,而且他对中国新文学精神的现当代建构有着较具学术性价值的反思、活力性外射的暗示与批判性意义的提醒。本文着意通过对余光中现代新诗创作与理论的细读,更深度地分析并探究其中关于中国现代新文学精神主体的建构方式和表达机制。以期这一探讨对中国现代新文化精神建构中争论颇多的相关问题有突破性的价值启示。

Yu Guangzhong＇s new poetry contains wisdom of the main mode of prototype lyric of classical literature. Yu attaches great importance to modem construction of ＂Chinese New Literature＂ spirit in the concept of time and space, and visual environment, writing skills and the expression of the purport of the whole idea, and his contemporary construction has a reminder of the academic value of the reflection, the vigor of shoots out hints and critical significance. However, few people in the academic circles have touched the civic research and root origin of Yu Guangzhong and the spirit of ＂Chinese New Literature＂, and it remains a vulnerability so far. Under this background, this paper makes an in - depth analysis and exploration of Chinese new literature spirit of subject construction and expression mechanism through close reading of Yu Guangzhong＇s modem poetry creation and theory. In detail, four aspects are discussed ： firstly, Yu＇s idea of religious spirit and poetic life; secondly, his ＂What Is Meant by Chinese Modernization＂ ; thirdly, the modem rise of the new spirit of classical consciousness; finally, the influence of Yu＇s thought. It is hoped that this study can provide some insight and enlightenment for the related issues in the construction of Chinese new culture spirit.
