’ An Essay on Scholars Idea of Living in Qing Dynasty

清儒对治生问题广泛关注这一现象与社会结构的变迁有着密切的联系。他们强调儒者治生的合理性以及治生,对儒者独立人格的重要意义清儒的治生观念是对传统价值观念特别是对宋明理学道德理想主义精神的一次强烈冲击。

Scholars began to pay more attention to living and emphasize the importance of living in Qing dynasty. This phenomenon was closely related to the changes of social structure. They rationalized living of scholars in theory and stressesd ’’the importance of living to scholars independent personality. From the viewpoint of the history of thought, scholars idea and practice of living was a heavy blow to traditional idea, particularly the moral idealism of Neo-Confucianism.
