秦封泥文字考释二则

Two Annotations on the Characters in Clay Impression of Seals of Qin Dynasty

本文在汲取以往研究成果的基础上,从形音义和封泥形制等角度,对表示姓名的两个秦封泥的文字形体进行了分析和再释读,提出了与旧说不同的观点,并将以往未释之字进行了考证,指出这两个文字分别为"监"和"癰"。

Based on previous studies, this paper analyzes and re-annotates two characters used as name appeared in seals＇ impression on clay of Qin Dynasty, from the aspects of their structure, pronun- ciation and meaning, and considers they are 监 and 癰, which is different from previous viewpoints.
