Smoking as a hot issue in the world has been paid more and more attention by fields of medical,psychological and social both at home and abroad because of the health problems caused by it.To study the ideal method of quitting smoking has become a major task in front of human.Prestigious TCM specialist HUANG Jin-ming has unique understanding on quitting smoking,and he has accumulated a wealth of experience in treating tobacco addiction with Zhang medicine.This paper excavatesd,arranged,and summarized HUANG Jin-ming＇s experience in treating tobacco addiction with Zhang medicine,and expounded the commonly used methods to quit smoking as oral medicines,acupunctures,moxibustion,and mouthwash,and their characteristics,which provided simple,convenient,cheap and safe solutions for treating tobacco addiction.
