In new media age, the information service of basic level library faces serious challenges. If the library does not meet the knowledge needs of readers that should greatly affected the function playing of the basic level library. This paper mainly analyses the problems and countermeasures of information service of basic level library in new media age, in order to provide guidance and reference for information service of basic level libraries.
