Open a Door to the Hadal Trenches—Progress on Frontier Study on Hadal Science and Technology

海斗深渊已逐渐成为国际地球科学尤其是海洋科学的前沿阵地和研究热点。"海斗深渊前沿科技问题研究与攻关"战略性先导科技专项的设立旨在推动我国海洋科学事业的发展,引领世界深渊科学研究,建立我国深渊生物学、深渊生态学和深渊地学等海斗深渊学科体系;满足和支撑国家海洋探测高技术需求,建立支撑我国深渊科学研究及技术攻关的技术体系。文章介绍了专项立项背景、研究目标、研究内容、组织管理架构及近期重要进展。

Recently, Hadal Trenches research has received tremendous attention in the field of Earth sciences especially Marine science Strategic Priority Program （SPP） of Frontier Study on Hadal Science and Technology is dedicating to promote the development of the Marine science in China, leading the deep scientific research, and establishing a deep subject such as biology, ecology and geoscience. The implementation of the SPP on Frontier Study on Hadal Science and Technology will also support the requirements for Marine exploration, and establish a technology system on deep detection
