摘要
Sokoya铁矿区位于塞拉利昂北方省苏拉山—坎格瑞丘陵成矿带,矿体赋存于太古代绿岩建造变质碎屑岩系中,赋矿岩性为磁铁石英岩,该矿属于海相火山—沉积变质型铁矿床。本文着重分析Sokoya磁铁矿体和氧化铁矿体地质特征,通过矿带、地层、物探、地表、地貌五个方面对BIF型铁矿床的找矿标志进行探讨,为该区铁矿进一步勘查和研究提供一定的参考。
Sokoya Fe orefield is in Sula Mts Kangari Hills metallogenesis zone of N province, Sierra Leone. The orebody is in Archaean greenrock formation metamorphic clastic rock series. The ore-bearing rock is magnetitic quartzite. The deposit is a marine facies volcanic sedimentation metamorphic magnetite deposit. In this paper, wefocus on the analysis of the geological feature of Sokoya magnetite orebody and Fe oxide orebody, and probe into the prospecting criteria of BIF Fe deposit according to the metallogenesis zone, stratigraphy, geophysical exploration , surface, geomorphology in order to provide the references for the further exploration and study of Fe deposit in this area.
