西北五省(区)承接产业转移缩小了区域经济差距吗?

Whether Five Provinces in the Northwestern Narrow the Regional Economic Gap by Undertaking Industry Transfer?

本文基于西北五省(区)2000—2014年面板数据,研究该区域承接国际、国内产业转移与区域经济差距之间的关系。传导机制上,承接产业转移主要是通过要素注入效应、技术溢出效应、产业结构优化效应、竞争引致效应和就业扩大效应来影响区域间经济差距。实证结果表明:西北五省(区)承接国际、国内产业转移都显著缩小了其与东部地区经济发展差距,当考虑人力资本变量时,发现该区域在承接国际产业转移时,存在人力资本门槛效应,而承接国内产业转移时,人力资本与区域经济差距存在"U"型关系,并在此基础上提出了加大对外开放力度,积极承接国际、国内产业转移,转向以内生驱动发展等政策启示。

Based on the panel data of 2000-2014 in five provinces of Northwestern China, this paper studies the relationship between industrial transfer and regional economic gap. From the transmission mechanism, undertake industrial transfer is the main factor into effect and technology spillover effect, industrial structure effect, competition effect and employment effect caused by expanding the influence of regional economic gap. the empirical results show that the five northwestern provinces to undertake domestic and international industrial transfer are significantly reduced the economic gap , when considering human capital variable, this area to undertake international industrial transfer, has the existence of human capital threshold effects,and to undertake the transfer of the domestic industry, there is a＂U＂ type relationship between human capital and regional economic gap, based on thes e, summed up increasing the opening of the outside world, actively undertakeing international and domestic industry transfer channging the development mode to the internal driving.
