北美藏学与《格萨尔》域外传播的语境解析被引量：9

On Contexts of Epic Gesar's Transmission in North America

摘要《格萨尔》域外传播与海外藏学的发展紧密相关,总体上经历了由欧洲向北美研究重心的转变。百年来史诗在北美的传播与北美藏学的发展轨迹一脉相承,根植于藏传佛教北美传播的文化语境。北美主体文化寻求精神家园的审美需求与《格萨尔》史诗的自由精神相契合,构成了《格萨尔》在北美传播的翻译语境。《格萨尔》史诗北美传播的语境分析,无疑会为中国少数民族史诗"走出去"提供借鉴意义。 The overseas transmission of Epic Gesar is closely related to Tibetan Studies,which underwent a shift from Europe to North America. Rooted in the cultural contexts of Tibetan Buddhism in North A- merica,the transmission of the Epic won’ t go far without the development of Tibetan Studies in North America where the host culture seeks spiritual inspiration and freedom from Epic Gesar for its aesthetic needs. Admittedly, the description of translation contexts of Epic Gesar in the North America will be of help for the “going out” strategy of other ethnic minority epics.
