新闻工作者是新闻事实与群众之间的桥梁,他们拥有一定的权利,也担负巨大的责任,在纷繁复杂的社会中,新闻工作者的角色伦理难免出现一些问题,如专业与商业之间利益唯上冲突所引发的角色异化,职业角色与非职业角色要求冲突所出现的角色混淆,新闻工作者基本功能与外在条件冲突所引发角色退化等.对此,应从社会和个人两方面对其角色职权进行规范.

Journalists who act as a bridge between the facts in news and readers have certain power but great responsibility in their working environments in the complicated society.Their role alone presents a potential risk,for instance,as they face confrontations between professional and business interests.Their roles may be confused or degraded due to external conditions.Hence,regulations should be formulated for their power and roles from social and individual asptects.
