To celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare＇s death, Shanghai People＇s Publishing House published Shakespeare＇s Sonnets in the form of thread-bound books, with words arranged vertically in traditional Chi- nese characters an innovative way of publishing foreign literature works. This edition of Shakespeare＇s Sonnets is based on the authoritative transla- tion by Mr. Tu An. At the age of 93, he still proofread his translation word by word.
