A Innovative Study on the Curriculum System Construction for College English under an "EGP+ESP" Integrating Mode

在新的教育体制下,传统的英语教学模式已经不能满足学生的学习需求,EGP+ESP相结合是大学英语教育发展的必然趋势,可以更好地满足学生的学习需求和社会对高校人才的需求,从而为学生日后就业奠定基础。要想实现EGP+ESP的合理结合,高校必须丰富教学手段,明确教学目标,实现有效教学。

Traditional English teaching modes have already failed to satisfy students＇ learning demands under a new educational system,which determines that the combination of EGP and ESP will be necessarily a trend of college English education. Such a mode is able to meet learners ＇ desire over learning and social demands over university students. Hence,it will lay a foundation for students ＇ career placement in the future. However,a sound integration of EGP and ESP has to depend on enriched teaching methods,definite teaching goals and effective teaching practice in universities.
