课堂语境下培养英语语言意识的困境及应对策略

摘要 语境不仅是语言赖以生存的环境,更是语言交际能力得以发展的基地。如何在课堂教学中创设语境是大学英语教学亟待解决的问题。以语言意识理论为基础,探讨课堂语境的有效性及必要性,从创新大学英语课堂教学入手,分析创建课堂语境的必要性及模式,发挥学生在英语学习过程中的主体作用,培养语言意识,引导学生构建持续学习英语的平台。 Context is not only the environment language depends on but the basis for one's development in linguistic communicative competence. For college English teaching,context creation in classroom is no doubt a problem badly needing a resolution. The paper first elaborates the effectiveness and necessity of classroom context guided by the theory of linguistic awareness,and then makes an analysis on the mode of classroom context creation to innovate the course of college English. It is pointed out that students' role as the subject has to be recognized in English learning. This requires that they be instructed to establish a platform for constant English learning through the training of linguistic awareness.
