The Textual Research on Sun Yingao's Writings

孙应鳌是明嘉靖至万历朝著名理学家、教育家和文学家,著述编纂十九种,但亡佚颇多,诸家书目记载多有抵牾,今之学者论述称引亦多舛误。笔者爬梳书目,访诸传序,搜访国内外图书馆,对十九种著述的刊刻、版本、内容及流传、存佚情况一一考证,订正了部分书目记载和学者称引的错误,对孙应鳌全集校勘及研究有所帮助。

Sun Yingao is a famous Neo-confucianist, educator and litterateur during the Jiajing and Wanli reign periods of Ming Dynasty. He has written and compiled nineteen books, but now most of them were lost, so there were many errors in some kinds of bibliographies and papers. On the basis of searching for the only existing copies in domestic and foreign libraries, looking through bibliographies and prefaces, I have given the textual research on the publications and editions, the contents and circularization, the lost and the extant of Sun Yingao＇s works. According to my findings, I have revised mistakes in some booklists and editions, and it would be helpful to collate and study Sun Yingao＇s complete works.
