Research on the Localization of Hydrostatic Dry Gas Seal Used for Screw Compressor and Its Application

某苯乙烯装置无油螺杆压缩机轴端密封采用静压式干气密封,对该密封的结构、原理、优缺点进行了介绍。结合目前在用的进口密封及静压气体润滑理论设计密封各部尺寸,同时依据现有的操作工况和输送介质选用合适的材质,成功实现无油螺杆压缩机静压干气密封国产化。

Hydrostatic dry gas seal is used as the shaft-end seal in an oil-free screw compressor for a styrene unit. This paper high-lights the structure, principle, advantages＆amp; disadvantages of this type of seal. Combined with the using imported seal and hydrostatic gas lubrication theory, the dimensions of seal are designed. Meanwhile, the suitable materials are selected according to the operating conditions and pumping medium. The localization of oil-free screw compressor hydrostatic dry gas seal is successfully realized.
