浅析扬州民间文学中文化负载词的归化异化翻译

On Domesticating and Foreignizing Translation of Culture-loaded Words in Yangzhou Folklore

文化负载词是中国民间文学的一个重要组成部分,翻译文化负载词,有利于中国文化的对外传播。扬州民间文学中的文化负载词是翻译的难点,译者必须使用适当的"异化"、"归化"翻译策略,最大程度地降低文化冲突,顺应文化差异,弥补文化缺省,达到宣传扬州文化的目的。

Culture-loaded words are one of the important parts of Chinese folklore. The translation of culture-loaded words helps the international communication of Chinese culture. It is not easy to translate the culture-loaded words in Yangzhou folklore. This paper argues that it＇ s necessary for the translators to apply proper translating strategies of domestication and foreignization so as to reduce the cultural conflicts, comply with the cultural differences and make up the cultural default, thus achieving the purpose of propagating Yangzhou culture.
