摘要
以1995年英美两国设计史研究者的一次争辩文章为分析文本,就设计史的主旨和范域、好设计和坏设计的区分、设计史作为一门学科等问题展开思考,可见英美设计史研究理念的异同。
Based on an argument between British and American historians of design in 1995,the purpose and range of design history,good design and bad design,design history as a subject,etc. are discussed. The similarities and differences of design history in the two countries are also discussed.
