摘要 医学英语是一门英语语言应用与医学专业知识紧密结合的课程,以鲜明的语言、特定的词汇结构为特色。词汇是学习医学英语的首要内容,是学生掌握语言知识和提高实际应用能力的前提,对提高医学英语教学效果起着基础性的作用。通过对医学英语词汇的特征和教学中存在的问题的分析,提出五个方面的教学策略,即增加词源文化教学、加强构词法学习、熟知词义演变、牢记缩略词和创设语境,提高学生自主学习能力。从而促进医学英语词汇的教学与记忆,帮助学生有效地掌握医学英语。 Medical English is the course in which sional medical knowledge. It has distinctive language the first step of learning medical English, the premise tion ability, and thus plays a fundamental role in the English language application closely connects with the profes- feature and specific lexical structure system. Vocabulary is of grasping the language and improving the practical applica- teaching effect of medical English. This paper analyzes the characteristics and current situation of medical English words, proposes the teaching strategies in five aspects such as adding cultural teaching of etymology, strengthening the learning of word-formation, understanding evolution of word-meaning, remembering the abbreviation and improving the students'autonomous learning ability in the specific context. This paper aims at promoting the teaching and memorizing of medical English vocabulary and helping students effectively grasp medical English.
