各种面貌、数量庞大的学生社团是五四时期的一道特殊风景。在教育救国论充斥社会之时,北京高等师范学校的平民教育社应运而生,在一定时期内产生了不小的影响,但最终还是不可避免地走向了没落。

There were a number of diverse student associations during the May 4th Movement. Within the intention of saving the nation by education, Democracy and Education Association at Beijing Higher Normal School was established and made a big influence at that time. However, it failed at last.
